Tawnya was a senior in high school she had a rocky start in life, but with the guidance and love from her grandparents and a young man she had recently fallen in love with she was on her way to making straight A's and moving forward with her life.  Brandon and Tawnya wanted to get married some day.  They were young and filled with love and thoughts of sharing a future together.  Shortly before midnight, on November 10, 2006, those dreams ended.  They had been out with friends that night and were on their way home Brandon enjoyed driving his car fast....too fast sometimes.  As he drove he lost control and hit the curb at 71 mph (speed limit was 45), causing the car to roll several times.  Tragically Tawnya had been ejected from the car and was killed.  A self professed non-seatbelt user, Tawnya paid the ultimate price for her decision that night, as did Brandon, for he will have to live with this the rest of his life.
